Planned disruptions on the Caldervale Line for July
and August
On Tuesdays to Fridays 15 to 18 June, 27 to 30 July, 7 to 10 September
2010 the 0547 Hebden Bridge - Leeds train will start from Halifax at
0603 with an earlier connecting bus at 0515 from Hebden Bridge and a
replacement bus at 0545 both to Halifax, calling Mytholmroyd 0525, 0555,
Sowerby 0540, 0610, Halifax arrive 0555, 0625.
On Sundays 18 July to 5 September 2010 buses will replaced trains
between Rochdale and Manchester Victoria with extended journey times.

timetable.
Owing to work in the Calder Valley on Sunday 18 July 2010 through
trains are unable to run between York and Blackpool North before 1245
and between Leeds and Manchester Victoria all day. York - Blackpool
North trains until approximately 1245 will terminate at Hebden Bridge
and restart from Burnley Manchester Road with replacement buses between
Hebden Bridge and Burnley Manchester Road. Leeds - Rochdale trains will
terminate at and start from Hebden Bridge all day. Buses are already
timetabled to replace trains between Rochdale and Manchester Victoria
(see above). Some of these will be retimed and extended to run between
Hebden Bridge and Manchester Victoria, connecting with trains. Journey
times involving buses will be extended.
On Sunday 1 August 2010, owing to work at Church Fenton before 1020,
trains to and from York will terminate at and start from Micklefield,
with connecting buses between Micklefield and York. Trains affected are
0831 Bradford Interchange - York and 0850, 0952 York - Blackppol North.
The 0905 Halifax - York train will bev retimed to arrive York later at
1032. Buses from York will depart earlier than advertised at 0810, 0915
in order to connect. Journey times involving buses will be extended.
On Saturday 7 August 2010 the 2254 Manchester Victoria - Leeds train
will be diverted from Halifax (reverse) and run non stop to Leeds via
Normanton arriving Leeds earlier at 2352, not calling at Bradford
Interchange, New Pudsey and Bramley. A connecting bus from Halifax to
Leeds at 2355 will serve the intermediate stations, Leeds arrive 0100.
On Monday to Thursday 23 to 26 August 2010 the 2320 Manchester Victoria
- Leeds will be diverted from Bradford Interchange (reverse) and run non
stop to Leeds via Morley, arriving later at 0115 next day. This train
does not call intermediately between Bradford and Leeds.
All day on Sundays 29 August, 5 September 2010 Leeds - Rochdale trains
will terminate at and start from Littleborough. Trains will be retimed 5
minutes later into Littleborough and start from Littleborough 5 minutes
earlier than advertised. Buses are already timetabled to replace trains
between Rochdale and Manchester Victoria (see above). Some of these will
be retimed and extended to run between Littleborough and Manchester
Victoria, connecting with trains. Buses from Manchester will run eralier
than advertised and buses from Rochdale will run later than advertised.
Journey times involving buses will be extended. |
