Reaching Out in the South Pennines - SPRP project to engage with minority ethnic groups in its region - see report

The South Pennines Rail Partnership provides a sub-regional link between the rail routes in the South Pennines area. The aims and objectives of the partnership, which are:

to promote sustainable tourism , by working with tourism operators to promote travelling by rail.
to develop certain stations as South Pennines gateways
to promote links from the rail network to the surrounding areas, by walking, cycling and community transport
to support events throughout the South Pennines
to work with socially excluded communities; and projects with schools to encourage rail travel awareness

The Partnership promotes the Penistone Line, The Caldervale line, and the Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria line
